Christian Hohenadel claimed a podium finish in the penultimate round of the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring. Hohenadel and Seiler missed only briefly a possible victory in Sunday’s race, a rain shower at the end of the race prevented the Corvette-duo to claim their first victory of the season.

After the win of the Dutch Mad Crocs Xavier Maassen and Jos Menten in Spa, the Dutch pairing showed up at the German Nurburgring for the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship with high hopes, just as the Finn paring Mika Salo and Pertti Kuismanen.

The FIA GT1 World Championship travels to Germany for the sixth round of the 2010 season – the first FIA GT race to be held at the Nurburgring since 2001. The class of 2010 will compete on the 5.1 km grand prix circuit which adjoins the notorious Nordschleife.

With a need to focus on this North American challenge, it has been agreed that Gavin will concentrate fully on the remainder of the 2010 ALMS and will take no further part in any of the rounds of the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship.

The FIA GT1 World Championship ventures to the infamous Nürburgring circuit in Germany for the sixth instalment of a thrilling 2010 season. The GT1 drivers will battle it out for victory on the 5.148km Grand Prix Streke circuit, which sits alongside the historic 22.8km Nordschleife circuit. The Nordschleife is one of the most daunting circuits in the history of motorsport.

The championship leader of the FIA GT3 European Championship had bad luck in recent races of the national German sportscar series, but things changed with this weekends podium finish in a Callaway Competition-Corvette Z06.R GT3.

The 2010 ADAC GT Masters race will feature a number of previous winning brands at the Euro Speedway. This includes: Corvette (2007, 2009), Lamborghini (2007) Porsche (2008), Audi (2009) are all registered on the winners lists.
