After a successful 5 years of track triumphs with the second evolution of the C6.R, the birth of the C7 Stingray in 2014, represented a new departure from the previous generation of racer developed by General Motors and Pratt & Miller. As before, the race car and the Z06 share the same, production based aluminum frame. The new C7R also bodes a 40 percent stronger frame than the previous C6.R GTE.
For the 2015 seaosn, returning French Privateer team Larbre Competition will campaing the first ever privately entered C7R (chassis 002) in the prestigious FIA World Endurance Championship.
